My Journey to the Zoo!..

The beginning of the this week, me and my boyfriend decided to do something little different, and we sort of wanted to get away from the Springfield area and try something new. So, we thought about it long and hard, and decided to drive a ways, and we both thought that the zoo would be very fun.
Now it is not the zoo that we have in Springfield, but the zoo up in St. Louis. I have been to the zoo up in St. Louis tons of times because I have family up there, but when Isaac, my boyfriend, said he has never been to the zoo, I knew it then and there that we had to go! So the next day we had left bright and early about seven O'clock, and made our journey up north which took about thee hours. When we finally made it, it was already about 100 degrees outside, and was blistering hot.
We first started off our journey at the zoo by buying waters because of the heat, but once we were hydrated and filled with liquids, we went to the primate house and saw all of the monkeys. Afterwards, we went to the side of the zoo with all of the tigers and zebras and giraffes. Next we visited the penguin enclosure, and it was freezing inside. It also had a very foul smell from all the fish the penguins ate, but it was my favorite part of the adventure. They were so soft and cuddly, and not to mention they were so cute too.
At this point of the trip we were about half way through the zoo, and there was still so much stuff we had not seen yet. Me and Isaac kept on trudging through the heat, and saw the bird sanctuary, the reptile sanctuary, and also saw by far my most favorite animal, the wombat. I do not know why, but it just looked so cute and cuddly looking. Also my most favorite animal there were the baby kangaroos (Joeys). There are so tiny and cute, and I wish I could have taken alone home and kept it forever and ever.
The only thing that was bad about the trip was the fact in that it was so hot outside, that we could not bear it anymore. So we ended up having to leave and did not get to see all of the animals. When we got back to the car, we immediately turned the A/C on full blast, and made our journey back home. On our way back though, we stopped by an ice cream place and got some cold ice cream. I will have to say that it was the perfect way to end our day though, and it was the perfect way to spend the day with my boyfriend. I can not wait until we can go back and finish seeing all of the animals, and where we can spend the whole day together.

Volleyball

Volleyball is the sport that I play this will be my third year playing on varsity. I love this sport the endurance and adrenaline it gives you. When I am on that court I feel like a different person, so free. It allows me to express how I play with intensity.
This weekend will be our second team tournament camp for this summer. The first one we had was in Bolivar Missouri and we played okay. We won one out of the three games that day so no so great. But then after that the next week came and we practiced harder than we ever have. The intensity was amazing the way the team was working so well together. This weekend starting today on Thursday we will play for three days. Today we had four games we were undefeated all day. Tomorrow on Friday we play four more games , then on Saturday we play one games then we go into tournament play. Which means we will play until we lose and then when we lose we will go home. But this year I have so much faith in our team I think if we come out and play like we did today we will be unstoppable all weekend. Today these games made our coach so proud of us. It was a great feeling when you work so hard with a team and then you become undefeated. That feeling is one of the best feelings for me. That week that we spent in the weight room and doing circuits and lots of running was so worth the excitement that is paid of for the day. Hopefully the rest of this weekend we can perform the way we did today and come out with a win in this tournament maybe even undefeated all weekend.

My Last 20$

Well for starters twenty dollars does not get you very far. So if it were me and I only had twenty dollars left I would try and save it for as long as possible. But, if I have to spend it. It would probably go towards my essential needs. Such as women care, or food. I love food so I mean if I really had to I would probably get my favorite food and grab that and that is what I would spend my last twenty dollars on.
Although I probably would not allow myself to only have twenty dollars I would try pretty dang hard to do something so that I would have more than that. Not to sound greedy because I don't like greedy people but you do need so money. Money is something in this world that you need. Which is an awful thing to say but no one can help it now a days it is very hard to have no money. So many people don't and it is very heartbreaking thing that is why I would choose to save my money for as long as possible. Even though I know it would be quite hard if I only had that small amount left I would make it well worth it.
Maybe to make things a little better in this world I might  give my last twenty dollars to someone that truly needs it. Because I took this prompt a little bit differently than others might have. I took it onto the more sentimental side and thought well if I were to be leaving the Earth and all I had was was twenty dollars in my pocket to send before I left I would make sure that I would give it to someone it was going to need and so they can have a good life on Earth as for I am leaving. I know it was weird to think of it in that way. But that just occurred in my mind. I would use it for someone who needed it since I did not have any more of a use for it. I know that I probably should not of thought of it that way but I could not really of anything else to spend it on like it had asked me to talk about so I was trying to think of different ideas on how to make the prompts a little bit different so therefore I could keep talking about it.

Something Bothering Me!

Well today for by blog I am suppose to write about something that has bothered me this week. Well to be completely honest with you there had been multiple things that have bothered me this week. One of them was I was not suppose to go into work on Saturday so I slept in, but then I get a sudden awaken from my mom telling me that our worker for the day has lost his key to his truck which is all the key to get into the shop. See my parents own there own shop very cool thing it is fulled with all sorts of racing stuff and Lucas Products. I love to go and work there is a lot of fun going and listening to people's stories about how they wrecked last weekend but their car is fixed so they are coming in to get fuel to be on the go again hoping that nothing bad happens this weekend. It is a great environment. Super nice people, almost everyday I have someone come in with a super hot new or old car that they show me because they just got done building it. It is always very interesting and exciting to work there.  But back to what I was saying about our worker, well he lost his keys and can not find them anywhere. It takes him and us both to probably there in about fifteen minutes so not to far, not to mention we don't have to be there until 9:50. When my mom wakes me up freaking out because not is there and our worker won't be there till later so she waked me up mind you it is 9:38. I throw some clothes on and leave at 9:45 and I make it there at 9:58. And to be honest I really didn't even speed at all. But anyways he told my mom he would be there. Well I get there before he does and I have to open everything and it is 10:32 and he just got here. So when he gets inside I start talking to him and he proceeds to tell me never to lose my keys. Which I know that I put my keys in the exact same spot everyday that way I never lose them. He also tells me he has been looking for his keys since 6:00 that morning. Which to me I don't understand because if you have known since 6:00 that morning that you can't find your keys well then you had enough time to call someone to pick you up and take before the shop had opened not thirty minutes past opening time and that I have already helped three customers. So all I have to say is if you know something is wrong within time frame to where you can still be on time don't wait and be late. I guess all it is, is time management which some people need a little bit of help with.

The Photographer

There were only three months of college left. John, a senior at the University of California, was majoring in Photography and was at the top of his class. He was very excited to graduate. The dormitory that he lived in was only two blocks away from the campus of the college. He rode his bicycle every day to school and back.
Ever since John was 13, he had such a strong passion for photography. He would steal his grandmother's camera and take pictures of anything and everything that he could. John felt that it was his sole purpose in life to "capture the beauty of life in every picture". This motto would have become very famous in John's life, but there was something very dramatic that John never saw coming. One day at the yearly check-up at the Doctor's office, his doctor Rick Summers had discovered that John had a very life threatening disease.
It was devastating for John. He only had three more months left of college, and he already had the career of his dreams lined up for after he graduated. He did not have anyone close to him, but he wished he had. He never thought that anything like this would ever happen to a guy like him. For the next month and three weeks, all John can do is lay hopelessly and pray that this disease passes. His day consists of nothing but vigorous testing, with many needle pricks and blood-draws.
But as the fourth week roles around, everything changes for him a second time. Now instead of all his tests reacting negatively to treatment, he is responding positively and making improvements. Another week goes by, and John is now ready to be discharged. He can not even believe that after how bad he was, somehow he can turn around so fast and be completely fine. When John returns to class to finish off his schooling, everyone is happy and enjoyed to see him, and he graduates still at the top of his class.
John is now a leading photographer for a very famous magazine company in southern California. A couple years role past and he has found a wife, and has a child on the way.
It had turned out that there had been something in John's dormitory that had caused his mysterious illness. Doctor's never found the reason for his illness, but they are surprised that John is even alive to this day.
John is living a happy life now, and is thankful for being alive.

Things that Annoy Me!

1. When someone repeatedly pokes me in the same place.
2. When someone says my name like a hundred times.
3. When someone is looking over my shoulder and hovering over me.
4. When someone spoils a surprise for me.
5. When someone says they will do something and they forget.
6. Driving
7. Being tickled
8. Someone asks me the same question like ten times.
9. PDA annoys the heck out of me.
10. People that are ignorant to your face.

Well it says that I must pick one but I can't describe just one thing so I am going to touch on a couple of them and describe a little why.
When someone pokes me repeatedly, I mean really you have got my attention the first time I am obviously doing something at the current moment. And all you have to do is what just a minute or two and I will be done.
When someone is hovering over my shoulder it feels like an invasion of privacy.
And no one like a surprise spoiled that is just plain and simple, it is no fun when someone does that to you.
And I won't even touch as much as I would like to about driving. I don't understand why people drive the way the do. Some people are purposely ignorant drivers they try and cause problems.
PDA is a huge one that is something you do in a private matter I don't want to see you sucking face with you boy in the hallway or at the mall or anywhere public for that matter it is disgusting and not necessary.
And last but not least people being ignorant to your face, there is no reason for it. There is no need to be rude to someone. That is just being immature and if you have a problem that say it in a calm matter trying to make things better not to be ignorant without reasoning.

Learning Languages

Hmmmm.... 13 reasons of learning a language. Well one reason is it is just awesome I mean to speak any language that is just amazing. One reason I can think of is well you can go to any country and you would know what everyone is saying. You can interact with so many people and not have to worry about the language barrier between cultures. I would love to be able to communicate with people of an opposite culture than mine. By being able to speak another cultures language is you can learn that culture like it is your own it opens you to a broad view that some people can not get when they travel because they simply don't know how to communicate.
Learning a new language might not be very easy but it is very beneficial. But learning those languages will make you a much more knowledgeable person. By learning a new language it expands your mind to were you are always thinking. For example say if you are speaking English but you know French then as you are speaking English you might try and repeat your sentence or think about how you would say that in French. It is almost like you are exercising your brain to constantly keep it thinking which is very healthy for the brain. Also I think more be can be interested in you because they can learn form you as well. Not to mention how fun would it be to be able to say any word in any language if you got that dedicated.
Something that I found pretty interesting about good reasons to learn a new language is because of jobs. Some companies are in need for people who can speak multiple languages which would be a great reason for you to learn more languages because more job opportunities. But that is just some reasons why it would be pretty interesting to learn multiple languages.
